Has any one been able to recover there money?

  • January 4, 2020 at 7:45 AM by an anonymous user from: Westerville, Ohio, United States

I had the same experience. I have never been scammed online until now. I fell for the KitchenAid scam and lost $70.00. PayPal has not helped to recover my money and attempts to do so with the company have been futile. Please use this as a warning to stay away from the website: help.ulats.com. It is fraudulent.

  • November 27, 2018 at 12:49 PM by an anonymous user from: Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain

Unfortunately, I have been scammed when making a purchase on that page. This happened at the beginning of September of this year.

I sent a first email asking for my order, to which they answered why I was going to that email, to get in touch with the sales department. After another month I sent another email to the same place, and simply, there are no more answers, the land has swallowed, they have disappeared.

Is there any way to recover the money? Can you report in any way?

What I do know, after this,

is that you have to be careful especially with

Many of the ads that appear on the facebook, because that's where I saw it.

    Thank you.

OK, an update on my order. I order the Kitchenaide Mixer on September 6, 2018, my card was charged. I have been checking back on a daily basis, and have been watching it's progress across the ocean.

My order left on a Marine Container Transport on September 24, 2018. The web site said it could take 20-45 days for it to arrive. The arrival scan occurred at 14:13 10/29/2018. That means (I hope), that is has finally arrived at one of the USA ports. :) I will keep checking for further updates, and keep posting those updates.

I just called my Credit Card company because I wasn't receiving my mixer and they said that they are getting an average of 4 - 5 Calls a day about this company.

Beware they also "claim to sell" Milwaukee tools and Paddle-boards for dirt cheap and have warned me that in the winter they try to sell Canada Goose and UGG boots.

I have learned my lesson and will not be ordering from FACEBOOK again.

I wish Facebook had a way of screening this kind of advertisement. Call your credit card company because they will issue you a credit. Thanks and Good Luck to all!

    • September 27, 2018 at 1:21 PM by an anonymous user from: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

    • September 25, 2018 at 4:39 AM by an anonymous user from: Morrow, Arkansas, United States

You are so right. Do not purchase anything from Facebook Ads!

  • September 21, 2018 at 12:55 PM by an anonymous user from: Reno, Nevada, United States

Well, so far so good. The company is out of China, and have kept me updated on all of the activity of the item I ordered.

It is now ready to deliver to the containers. It has had one custom scan, and I imagine it will have another one when it hits the docks. They have been very good about updating my order, so I am going to withhold any negative judgement.

With the trade war going on with China right now, I am going to presume it will take longer than the usual 8 weeks to arrive at my doorstep. Good luck to others who ordered, and keep checking back.

    • November 25, 2018 at 9:23 AM by an anonymous user from: Sunnyvale, California, United States

I was just like you. Kept checking the status and saw where it had arrived in the US and was going through the customs scans and such but now cannot access their websites for about 2 weeks now.

It says the server has stopped responding. And I have googled it and all I see in the results is that it is a scam. SO disappointed but I will be contacting my credit card to get a refund. I have also been watching my card activity and so far they have not used it for anything but the mixer the day after I ordered it in September.

    • October 18, 2018 at 7:46 AM by an anonymous user from: La Marque, Texas, United States

I'm doing the same, withholding my opinion until it has time to be delivered, or not. I ordered on 9-7-2018 and it is now on the container ship, and yes they have updated my order on a regular basis. Good Luck to both of us.

    • October 11, 2018 at 11:29 AM by an anonymous user from: Pineville, Louisiana, United States

Did you ever receive your items?

    • September 24, 2018 at 10:04 PM by an anonymous user from: Sunnyvale, California, United States

You will not receive anything from them. This is a totally fraudulent comy. Do yourself a favor and cancel your card immediately or you will keep getting unauthorized charges.

Once this is reported, the ads should be taken down. If it wasn't for Wells Fargo, I would not have known this. They declined my purchase from this source, and I called to ask why. The first time I called, I was told my card was fine, but the merchant declined it. Then, I called back to get the number of the company.

A second Wells Fargo agent then told me that she could not find a company contact number. She then did some research and found the information posted. I am sure I am not the only one who was lured into this trap. Facebook should be ashamed for allowing this to continue.

  • September 14, 2018 at 5:46 PM by an anonymous user from: Rohnert Park, California, United States

Why can't Facebook stop the advertising? It looked legit to me and I fell for it.

A friend sent me the link to this site and I called my bank and canceled my card. I guess I assumed if it's on Facebook it's ok.

  • September 12, 2018 at 7:44 AM by an anonymous user from: Paducah, Kentucky, United States

I placed the order for that Kitchenaid mixer this morning. I got an email that said:

    "This is your conformation number."

That made me suspicious, so I looked up HomeAp and saw it was a scam. I immediately called my MasterCard company and had the card cancelled.

They said I have to dispute the charge after it is posted. Man, what a mess! I will be more careful from now on!

Facebook, please check these scams out before allowing this cr*p!

    • September 12, 2018 at 9:53 AM by an anonymous user from: Washington, District of Columbia, United States

I tried to place an order 3 times, it kept telling me my MasterCard was declined. I guess I should be happy...I knew it was too good a deal...

  • September 12, 2018 at 3:53 AM by an anonymous user from: Pompano Beach, Florida, United States

Buyers be aware...and beware! It’s never a good idea to purchase something online from a company you’ve never heard of - especially if they don’t accept American Express. If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is!

  • September 11, 2018 at 11:59 PM by an anonymous user from: Bakersfield, California, United States

I have always been told that if its too good to be true then it is. I wish I had seen this when I was researching for for more information about this company I was reluctant but decided to go ahead and try it anyway.

I placed my order and it kept saying an error had occurred please try again. After three attempts I gave up but when I checked order my history it showed I ordered 3 KitcheAid mixers. So I immediately sent them an email stating that I had only ordered 1. They replied with go ahead and keep all 3 and we will give you a partial refund. Lucky for me my credit card company was alerted before me and they called me to verify the next morning.

So their fraud department is already on it and they already have my refund process started.

My card was already used in several different areas after I placed my order. My card has been cancelled and I don't think I'll be doing anymore online shopping. With the exception of Amazon of course.

  • September 11, 2018 at 10:21 PM by an anonymous user from: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States

This site is also connected to another site offering Dyson Stick vacuums. The website has since been taken down as well as 2 others also taken down. Emails I've sent to this address remain unanswered. Cannot believe Facebook would allow these scams on their site. It's a scam and fraud!

I fell for the kitchenaid scam. I checked my credit card and saw a pending charge. I called my credit card and they won't do anything until/unless that charge goes through. They tell me they will help me dispute the charge if it goes through - though they have asked me to try to contact the seller first. I have tried to explain that the "seller" is fake online store and asked if the credit card company had a phone number for them. No - they don't...but they will try to help. I did not have a lot of confidence. As I said - here are two from Homeap. The email address is: service@vipsupportmail.com.

Why is Facebook allowing this to be advertised on their site?

Another reason not to trust social media!

My husband showed me this great deal for the kitchen aid mixer. I gave him my credit card to charge it,but then it said it only accepted mastercards, I became leary.

I looked it up and found this site revealing it IS a scam. Since he did submit my card, I called the credit card company and had them put a block on it. Since it is Sunday, Monday morning, I will call my bank and have a new one issued. Since they had my Visa number that they said they could not use, who's to say they really couldn’t use it for their own use.

Thank you for your advice page. Yes, I did see the incredible price and mixer on Facebook. I was interested, but being a wise online shopper, I looked up the company online, and it did not come up.

I checked Kitchen Aid directly to find actual cost, and theirs on sale, was what this company claimed to be the actual price, but now on sale.. Ha! No way was any company selling it legitimately for 8% of the original price! Thats a 92% markdown!

Such a shame, but again, thank you for posting this page so that I could be doubly assured! But shouldn't someone inform FaceBook about their selling advertising space to criminals?

Saw this on Facebook and wanted to order for my 2 daughter-in-laws, tried 3 separate times but it kept asking for MasterCard, not what I had. Then I noticed in “my orders” 3 charges, not paid.

Didn’t give all of my credit card info to finish the transaction but am fearful of what will happen. What do I do?

    • September 9, 2018 at 8:31 PM by info

Just keep an eye on your credit card statements and report any fraudulent transactions to your bank.

  • September 9, 2018 at 3:46 PM by an anonymous user from: Brea, California, United States

I was on the facebook and saw the same ad. It was so cheap so I wanted to order for my daughter. Lucky I called her to confirm if she want it. She said to cheap to be true. She wants to check out Homeap and sure enough it was a scam.

  • September 9, 2018 at 3:17 PM by an anonymous user from: Calgary, Alberta, Canada

    definitly scammers gggrrrr

  • September 9, 2018 at 12:41 PM by an anonymous user from: Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Saw the ad on facebook, bought a kitchener and went online found this site about Homeap. I immediately called credit card center and notified this scam charge, luckily the amount is still pending and therefore, I pull it off and request for a new card.

One thing we should all know, such good deals deemed to have problem.

  • September 9, 2018 at 10:41 AM by an anonymous user from: Greenville, South Carolina, United States

A friend sent me the link for the KitchenAid mixer, and it was incredibly cheap so I ordered two. When I entered my card information, it said that it declined, even though I knew I had plenty of funds.

I thought this was a little suspicious and it turns out that I was right. So far, I have had two charges to my card that aren’t even The same amount that I was paying for the two mixers.

I had to call the card this morning and have them shut it down. There’s nothing I can do about the pending charges until they go through and then it’ll be a dispute. It is turning into a nightmare! Buyer beware this is a scam!

  • September 9, 2018 at 7:12 AM by an anonymous user from: Sunnyvale, California, United States

This ad popped up in a game that I was playing, Tripesks solitaire. The prices seemed unreal. I immediately tried to look into this to see if it was real or not and searched the name of the website and found this article.

Thank you for posting that this website in a scam. That was my initial thought anyway because I've never ever seen prices for a kitchen aid this cheap.

    • September 9, 2018 at 9:26 AM by an anonymous user from: New York, United States

Ditto Here. This suspicious ad showed up on a Buy and Sell app. I always remembered, If It's To Good To Be True, Then It Isn't. I did a search on this ad company and saw that it was a scam, my suspicions became real.

  • September 8, 2018 at 8:32 PM by an anonymous user from: Venice, Florida, United States

I was going to order from this website that was advertising on Facebook until I got to the total page and they were charging $25 tax for a $141 order, Sent email asking whay so much tax, and it came back as Mailer Daemon. No such site! I quickly deleted all of my info.

I guess trying to get something for a great price is too good to be true. That;s just how these scammers get us!

There was also a website advertising on Facebook called Imixers.io

    We MUST be vigilant!

Thanks for the input. I compared prices for the KitchenAid Stand Mixer at Amazon and QVC and was amazed. Not possible. So I Googled the company and y'all came up, confirming what I had suspected. If it sounds "too good to be true" it usually is!

On-line shoppers need to be a little more careful about submitting credit card info to unheard of companies offering wonderful prices. We have to take responsibility for our actions.

By the way, I Googled y'all as well. Nice to know organizations like yours really do exist!

    Thanks.

Yep .. me too. Actually, I was trying to do it. The checkout didn't work right, because they were looking for a master card. So, I thought I'd see if I could get it to come up on the computer, instead of my phone.

The first thing that came up when I google'd homeap, was this page. I was going too fast .. I'm glad the hiccup was there.

This Homeap ad came up on Duolingo. Glad I looked it up. I will never again buy anything on an ad that comes up as a pop up. They are usually bogus or not what they appear to be. It is brick and mortar for me!

  • September 7, 2018 at 3:38 PM by an anonymous user from: Worthington, Minnesota, United States

I didn't have a mastercard so I didn't give them any information. Good thing I didn't give a credit card. Looked legitimate but glad I saw this.

  • September 7, 2018 at 3:28 PM by an anonymous user from: Racine, Wisconsin, United States

Stupid me. I tried to purchase some mixers from this site, because the site looked so genuine, and the prices were so great.

Although the site displayed Visa and Mastercard they only accepted mastercard, I tried placing an order and my card was denied.

I called my card holder and found that there was no problem with my card. I tried again to order only to have my card refused again.

My wife and I think that there are no mixers for sale and they just want orders to be able to obtain card information to steal.

We are monitoring our credit card now to be sure that we aren't being scammed. If this ad is a scam as you state, why hasn't Facebook banned it?

    • September 9, 2018 at 11:13 PM by an anonymous user from: Everett, Washington, United States

sadly my guess would be the Facebook likes the money! and remember that the company is owned by a guy that admits to selling your info.

    • September 9, 2018 at 5:58 PM by an anonymous user from: Louisville, Kentucky, United States

It might have been your credit card company declining the sale. My hubby tried to buy a guitar at a too good to be true price. Our bank refused the transaction as suspicious.

Thank goodness our bank was watching out for us!

  • September 6, 2018 at 8:43 PM by an anonymous user from: Birmingham, Alabama, United States

I used my bank card today to purchase the KitchenAid mixer, then I got to thinking at how low the price was, so I started to look into it.

I found out it was a scam, so I called my bank and had my card canceled and a new one sent out. Plus I filed a claim. Does anyone have a phone number for this so called company? Thanks

    • September 10, 2018 at 1:15 AM by an anonymous user from: Calgary, Alberta, Canada

I almost bought 2 items from HOMEAP but when I went to check out I found 2 discrepancies. The first was when the two items were added together it was a penny more than what the math equaled and the second was the sales tax was 17.95%. I'm so thankful for this site, Thank you!

An ad from this website popped up while I was using my 360 Security app. Does this mean that the 360 Security app isn't safe and secure?

Thank God I looked up "HOMEAP" before I went any further. I don't know how these SCAM WEBSITES are even allowed.

    • September 6, 2018 at 5:30 AM by info

It doesn't mean the app is not secure. It just means they are using ads to cover the cost of the app or to make the app free.

They have no control over the ads, because the ads are delivered via a third party.

But, once a rogue advertisement is reported, the advertiser will take it down.

  • September 6, 2018 at 1:15 AM by an anonymous user from: Phoenix, Arizona, United States

If it looks too good, such as a professional Kitchaide mixer for less than $60.00, then it is and you best stay away. The mixer is not listed as a factory remanufatured item, nor open box, or a returned product, all reasons to deeply discount an appliance.

If it were possible to buy a $400-$500 Kitchenaide mixer for less than $60, dealers would have grabbed them all, because they pay well over $250 for each one of these hot selling applications, they put in stock.

HOMEAP is indeed a scammer operation located in China, Russia, or Nigeria, the home office of Fraud.

  • September 6, 2018 at 12:22 AM by an anonymous user from: Portland, Oregon, United States

I was concerned about this website when I checked out the prices. I ordered the KitchenAid mixer pictured above and after entering my VISA credit card info it shoots back an error message saying they only accept MasterCard. Now I'm going to have to cancel my CC and go through the hassle of all that.

  • September 5, 2018 at 10:54 PM by an anonymous user from: Boise, Idaho, United States

There's simply no way to sell a $350 item for $50 and genuinely have inventory. If something smells too good to be true, it's usually because of the stink!

  • September 5, 2018 at 9:55 PM by an anonymous user from: Linglestown, Pennsylvania, United States

I fell for this also. But luckily my credit card company warned me & the sale did not go through. But I tried again with a different card because I didn't understand what had happened.

Same thing happened, the transaction did not go through. Thank goodness!

I then looked this company up only to figure out it's a scam. I changed my card number but am concerned that I had set up a user name & password with them. Thankfully the password was not one I use on other sites!

I have put a warning on the game app that this fraudulent site came up on warning people about this ad.

  • September 5, 2018 at 9:51 PM by an anonymous user from: Elmhurst, Illinois, United States

I'm screwed, I fell for it. Calling my CC Bank in am and getting new card.

  • September 5, 2018 at 9:01 PM by an anonymous user from: Hartford, Connecticut, United States

My mom clicked on this site ad from either Facebook or Instagram and made an order. When she showed me I looked up the site because I was suspicious and looks like I was right. Looks like this was just reported today; does anyone have any more information on how to stop the order/charges from going thru?

  • September 5, 2018 at 8:28 PM by an anonymous user from: Murrysville, Pennsylvania, United States

I fell for this big time because I have always wanted to buy a Kitchen Aid Mixer and when I saw this with all the right information security wise, I thought it was legitimate.

I put all my information from my credit card on the checkout and when I hit the submit button, it sent a message to me that they only take MasterCard.

I sent them a note on their customer service email and got a disjointed message that sounded like a foreign person wrote it.

By the way, on their webpage it says they take Visa and Mastercard. I have been taken. I am going to look at my account to see if anything has been taken out.

I had tried to look up information about this company, but the only thing that would come up was their website. I am so angry, not just at them, but for me being so stupid.

I'm not sure I'll order anything from computer except maybe for 2 businesses I usually do business with.

    Please beware of this company.
