BBB Complaint Virus Email Message Sent by Cybercriminals
Recipients of the fake and malicious Better Business Bureau(BBB) email below are asked not to open the attachment. This is because the attachment is a malicious Microsoft Word document that the cybercriminals behind the virus email are attempting to trick recipients in the opening. If the malicious Microsoft Word document is open and the recipient "Enable Editing" and "Enable Content," this will execute malicious code in the document called Macros. The code will attempt to download and install viruses, ransomware, or spyware on the recipient's computer.

The Content of the Malicious MS Word Document
Recipients of attached Microsoft Word documents from unknown sources are asked never "Enable Editing" and "Enable Content" for those documents. Doing so can execute malicious code or macro viruses in the documents that infect their computers with computer viruses and spyware.
Recipients who have already open and follow the instructions in the malicious document are asked to scan their computers with the antivirus installed on their computers to remove any malware that may have been downloaded and installed by the document.
