Scamming - Fraud
For the past few months, I have received a lot of scam calls and text messages from area code 424 telephone numbers. Most of the scam calls were technical support scams. The scammers' aims are to trick me into visiting a phishing website that steals account credentials and other sensitive information.

Got a call from 424-213-8831 with the name "LIEN ENFORCEMENT" displayed. Pretty suspect
multiple calls from 424-265-9152 with text such as "Can I call you?" and "Are you busy" and "Didn't you get my text?"

I just got a call from someone that said there was a civil suit against me. 424 310 0090. I went to clerk of court no suit or anything on my record.
The text messsage read " have you had your dinner yet"

I’ve receiving this number in what’s upp asking for money ant threatened they hack my account or something 424404 8229 is it fromCalifornia code?
I just received a text message that appeared to be someone who texted their friend about a wedding dress. I’m naive. I said have a nice time at the wedding. She thought that was nice, told me her name is Belle. I told her my real first name and then I asked her where she was from. Fairly good English. Not quite. That’s when I told her I live in Iowa. I don’t.

Female age 25 just joined a social media site and as soon as you accept friend request you get chat message saying text her at (424)-279-4612 her profile says fowlerton Texas so why a California area code? Scam?
