The "Chevron HR, Employment" email below is a scam, so if you have received it, please do not respond to or follow the instructions in it. The fake email is being sent by online scammers who are trying to trick their potential victims into sending them their personal information and money for fake employment recruitment.

Received this scam:"Subject: Reporting Suspicious Recruitment ActivityHello,My name is Hamidreza AZARI, (Hamidreza.Azari@centrale-marseille.fr)I am writing to report a suspicious recruitment activity that appears to involve someone impersonating your organization.Recently, I applied for a job at Chevron for a position in Marseille, France. Shortly after submitting my application, I received an email from "hr.chevron@live.co.uk" from: ("Mr. Frank W. Mount Europe Seafield House,ill Of Rubislaw,Aberdeen Aberdeenshire, AB15 6XL;Whatsapp 447861670591;Phone: 447861670591") requesting personal information, including:1. Details of my present employment status2. My ability to travel to various locations3. Targeted job positions4. WhatsApp number5. Full name6. Permanent and work mailing addresses7. Direct contact numbers8. Email address9. Current monthly salary10. Future plans for a hospital if employed11. Current country of residence12. Country of nationalityI became concerned about the legitimacy of this communication, particularly because the email did not come from an official Chevron domain. Despite not responding to the request, I have now received an employment contract in my name without any prior interview or legitimate hiring process.
