Fast Support Scam: Beware of Fake Emails and Calls

If you receive a popup message, or an unsolicited call or email asking you to go to fastsupport.com because there is something wrong with your computer, please do not. This is because cybercriminals are tricking their potential victims into giving them remote access to their computer via the legitimate remote assistance website - fastsupport.com.

Fastsupport is a legitimate website, but it is sometimes being used by cybercriminals to trick potential victims into giving them remote access to their computers. Once, the cybercriminals have access to your computer, they can steal your personal and financial information by gaining unauthorized access to your online accounts or files on your computer.

This is why Fastsupport is advising their users to be cautious if they receive unsolicited requests to access their computers. And ask that online users only join support sessions with people they recognize and trust.

You can help Fastsupport shutdown some of the cybercriminals by reporting them. Click here to report.
