International Parcel Service Scam - FIPS IPS016448296Ca

The International Parcel / FIPS Service text parcel notifications below are fakes. The fake messages, which claim the recipient's parcel has been stopped for unpaid customs fees, are scams created by cybercriminals to steal their potential victims' personal and financial information. Therefore, recipients of the same text messages are asked not to click the link in them.

The International Parcel Service Scam

"We tried to deliver your parcel IPS016448296CA, but there is an unpaid customs fee. Please follow the instructions here: 08o.me/Xw1OZ"

"There is an update on ur parcel. Item stopped due to unpaid customs fee. Follow the instructions here: https://bit.do/fLNJD"

I got another fake text from IEIPS-SMS: "016448296GB" and was taken to a fake IPS (International Parcel Service) website, which automatically entered the so called tracking number and then wanted my personal details and €1.50 for a customs fee. The link in the text is "j5l.website/Xljmb".

Thanks for the warning! Also received a similar message although the suplier said no extra fees will be required - Scam for sure!

Getting lots of emails from IPS delivery wanting me to confirm my address and pay 2 dollars,I have since found out this is a scam do not pay or give information out

I keep getting emails for parcels. I am not sure wether it is a scam. They keep saying that the parcels are I the warehouse. I have told them that I do not have any bank cards and that I will pay all charges when they deliver them. I never get any answers but they keep sending the emails. What do you think?

Flag the emails as spam so they go to your spam folder.

I received the one for "IPS477978901UXK" but they are asking for Customs fees €2.
