The fake email is being sent by online scammers who are taking advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic. The scammers' aim is to steal their potential victims' SAFT Bank account credentials.

The email attachment "SAFT-Employer-Relief-Fund-Receipt.pdf.html" is a fake SAFT webpage that ask recipients to sign-in. But, any attempt to sign-in will result in the recipients' SAFT account credentials being sent to the scammers or cybercriminals. The cybercriminals will then use the stolen credentials to gain access to their potential victims' accounts and use them fraudulently.
