Scammers are calling from telephone number 0461604584 pretending to be from the tax department or the Department of Home Affairs, claiming they have an arrest warrant for the recipients. Therefore, recipients of calls from 0461604584 are asked to hang up, and for those who have received missed calls from the same number, they should not call back. got a call from this no saying. they are from immigration department and saying there are many complains on me. I wanted to talk to them, but they ended the call knowing. they have been played as well.

Didn't answer the call as I didn't recognise the number. Called the number back and got message saying call could not be connected. Obviously using spoofing technology to make a fake mobile number appear on the screen when calling. Definitely dodgy.

Recorded message from 'home affairs' stating my name is being used illegally and there is a warrant out for my arrest. Told me to press 1 immediately. I hung up instead!

Received a call from them just now. Once an agent started talking, I asked for my name right of the bat. I didn't provide any details and he became very aggravated and started threatening me. Please do not answer.

received a call from this number,home affairs claiming they have an arrest warrant for me and to talk to an agent to type #1 then they hang up switched my phone off for few hours does it mean my phone has been hacked?
