G6Scv.info Costco Receipt Text Message Scam

The Costco receipt text message below is a scam and was not sent by Costco. The scam text message attempts to trick recipients into clicking on a link in it by claiming Costco is trying to get a hold of them about their receipts. But, clicking on the link goes to the fake and malicious website g6Scv.info, which has been shutdown. If you have received the same fake text message or others like it that ask you to click on a link, just delete them.

They texted me the same thing about an Amazon reward to the g6scv.info site and the link went to Costco.
