I am getting scam text messages like the one below from area code 347. The text messages have a link in them that appears to go to phishing or malicious websites. If you have gotten scam text messages or calls from a 347 area code, please share by leaving a comment below.

Received a text message supposedly from Walgreens stating that a prize had been won. In order to receive it,I had to click on message. I didn't click on the site, but did report it. The text came from 1-347-789-2669. Not even in my area.
I received a call this morning at 7:02 am. Saying that I also won millions. I hung up
I received a call from 347-352-7621 claiming that I won publishers clearing house of 13.5 millions dollars. did not ask for money but my e mail address to send me conformation of my winnings

Computerized recording: "you are the sweepstakes winner... call us at (#) to claim your prize..." Then repeat.Can hear faint, muffled, call center- like chatter in background. Also says they are open "from TODAY until Saturday," 8am to 9pm ish. Clearly, these vm's smell like rotten sea tuna...

I received a text message from 347-422-2932 and the name that goes with this number is Roxanne Taylor. The text said I am getting a lot of junk messages and if I don't delete them they will lock my phone tomorrow. Please do something about this. I don't appreciate these spam messages.
I received a txt saying that a package couldnt be delivered..due to incomplete address. From USPS. I sell on ebay..so I was afraid to not check. I clicked on link..took me to a page that looked exactly like a USPS page. I started filling in the blanks..then thought to click on a few links on the page to see what happened. Like the 3 horizontal lines..did nothing. I deleted what I had filled in..left that page. Thats a federal crime..USPS. One day the authorities will be able to track those jokers by location..device..user..in seconds. I hope..anyway.347-975-1462
