Fake "Parcel Pending" text messages like the one below are scams and spams being sent by online spammers and scammers. Therefore, recipients are asked not to click the link in the fake text messages, they should just delete them.
John, we came across a parcel from June pending for you. Please claim ownership and schedule for delivery here:: hxxp://1smc.info/i4COxU9OvC
So far we have received the fake messages from the following telephone numbers:

I received a text this morning from (310) 256-0828:🚚📦Package Update: Dear Virginia Tabor, Parcel ID-8D 9W W is being pending last mile delivery in our SACRAMENTO depot. Reminder, the shipment will be returned to sender on 02/01/2021. In order to avoid additional costs, please confirm delivery time 🔜 erkpxgv.com/lXV9 ✅
I received a message from this number yesterday 505-3184596. I clicked on it because I’m actually waiting on a package and was a little confused. Not sure what will happen now.
I received a similar text from 917-865-1367 stating my name, "urgent notification for the USPS delivery 5G48F2 from 08/04/2020. Go to m3svc.info/ 4pDw2ank7A" The results Icould not state because I did not click that.

What can I do to stop this?
