The fake messages are being sent by scammers who are attempting to steal their potential victims' money, financial, and personal information. Therefore, recipients are asked to delete the messages.

On 03 August 2020, I got a text saying my JP Morgan account access is restricted, and to call 878-645-8020 for verification. It sounded fishy, but I called anyway on 04 August 2020. The number was disconnected.
