Is Theskullection a Scam? Review of the Online Store

Got the same message today ! From someone who was not having much followers and they asked me to dm to official page. So I first decided to give a check from google ! And yeah as I thought it is a scam! People don’t buy stuff from unknown sites ! Its just waste of time ! Nothing!

Got it too. Pshhh yeah I will not be partaking in buying items from a place that isn't a fair trade for my photography work.

just got the same message, was a random unknown no follower account, I sent the message to the “official” instagram and they said they are interested in collabing, i’m too suspicious of anything so glad I googled who and what they are because they have me really suspicious and one of my friends follow them so i’ll be giving them a heads up about this company.

Not sure on if they are malicious, but I have also received one of the suspicious looking direct messages from them about collabbing with them. It does just appear like its a scam to get people to buy their products, because the initial "entry requirements" require you to buy one of their products to "show you're really interested"

Ive just got this message saying "hey there! We would like to collab. Please dm our official page" seems abit wierd. I don't have that many followers on Instagram nor tiktok, or even YouTube for that matter. I haven't messaged them, andI don't plan on doing so. Just going to keep my foot in the door a bit longer

I got a message a few days ago (only saw it today) from some random person with 0 posts and 0 followers telling me to dm the official company. Now I'm a small tiktoker (30k followers) and I started a public instagram for fun but it doesn't even have 100 followers yet so I was surprised and a little confused. I scrolled through the official company's page and they weren't following anyone which I thought was weird but I figured I'd dm them and ask anyway. Anyway, before I did that I decided to go their website and check them out a bit more. I also found several pages like this, saying it was a scam. Thank goodness I did lol I will not be dming the company.

Yeah I got a message from someone is 0 followers and 0 posts, I though it was suspect but I DMed them anyway out of curiosity and because I'm a small artist from the UK (literally just set up an art insta and only family and friend are following at the moment),and I'm going to try and get any help I can, and within a few seconds got this really long message, (obviously just a cut and past) about how I have to buy something theirs with 10% off which seems good, but you get it when you visited the website anyway. The whole thing was weird and everything on the site was stupid expensive. Just really weird overall and I don't trust it.

Scam. Address is to Printful and Skellection is a Shopify store using fake reviews and purchasing likes and followers from FB and Insta

I got the same message from a clearly fake account, "hI dear, we saw your profile and its amazing! send us a dm on our official page on instagram (heart emoji)" I'm a small artist (photographer) and I really think its a scam. I also did some research on their ofc page and I fund a lots of diferent people recommending, so I'm kinda concerned but I'm not going to send dms. It is very suspicious

My daughter got the same message. She asked me about before she replied. Glad she did. There are several scam alerts about this company.

I got this message: "HI dear, we saw your profile and it's so interesting we would like to collab, send us a dm on our official page on instagram -theskullection [emojis]", yesterday - on September 7.
The account that I was contacted from is some Crissy Bohner (-crissy_bohner_m5yqfta), also a 0/0/0 acc.
I am pretty sure it's all a scam but I messaged them now - I am going to let you know here if their answer is worth it

So... I've ckeck the website, looking for interesting articles, and my conclusion is that this is dropshipping, or kind of. I think that they buy customable clothes on professionnal printing website (I'm sssssssssssorry for my sssssssssso bad english...), then sell it to customers like us with a big benefit to them : 50$ for a crop top ???

sounds like a pyramid scam but online. Im a photographer, a small one. Its very sketchy and I wouldnt.

Hi, I got the same message, I'm a French actress so I can confirm this kind of technique are often used to scam artists into giving money or worst, like credit cards codes and stuff... Stay away from them!

The skullection store changed their website address to Sugar Skull Leggings, Dresses, Skirts Custom Printed -TheSkullection this companies instagram account looks fishy. I find it odd they have several posts for "10%" with codes valid for *24* hrs and they left the photos up for *5days*..lol.. Also someone reached out to me, stating that they like my profile and asked me to DM the official page for a MLM collab. Yes, a random/fake profile, no followers, posts, etc, asked me to contact their company's page for this collab. im not sure how normal this is, but to get started all I have to do is use a code for 10% off any item(s) post a photo of me in said clothes and anyone who uses my link kicks me a small percentage...the designs are worse than hot topic..imo.

Oh! Same, they reached out to me for a colab? I'm a very small account who has an art style that focuses on very different things compared to the style that they show on their products. One of their bots (-lupecostowskyj_hcnn6d4y) reached out to me with the message:
"HI dear, we saw your profile and it’s so interesting we would like to collab, send us a dm on our official page on instagram -theskullection 🖤☺"
Seems pretty copy and pasted to me. The account also has no posts, no followers, and isn't following anyone. The account (-theskullection) also has their comments turned off. This seems like the company to sell you a bunch of sh*tty products that fall apart when you touch them, price gouged, ship them, and then tank the company before any consequences come their way. Stay clear of this store, just to be safe.

I got that message this morning too, to my personal account- where I don't share any of my art work. I'd like to assume they're just now starting up, but their first post was from 2017. And the "ads" on their posts are super grainy and just all around don't look quite right... None of it feels very legit, as much as I'd like it to be.
