The fake USPS delivery notification text message below with a link to m1shv.info is a scam and spam being sent by online spammers and scammers. Therefore, recipients are asked not to click the link in the fake text messages, they should just delete them.

I just got a text saying George, which is not my name, from number 347-268-9823claiming to be regarding USPS package.
Forgot to include the sender number. It was 347-268-9823.
I received this text just now (8:54 AM EST, 09/23/2020):"Kris, urgent alert for your USPS package 6K82F1 from 04/10/2020. Go to: sa1v.info/s5myl2e19O

Got it from 1 657-418-0649... But how did they get my first name. Quote convincing as I'm expecting a package, so asked sender if they gave my phone number (no they didn't). I went to usps website and put in the tracking number the scammers gave and of course usps said not a valid tracking number! Fkcrs.
We are told not to click/press the message but what would happen if we did?
