I also got the same message this morning and the number that they used to call me is 904-512-1833. Does anybody have any idea what we should do? Should we do anything I mean I want to make sure they ain't going to take the money off my card?

Today 5/7/21 I received the call from PT care maintenance. (845)285-6871 from New York was the number they called from. I received the same message about a subscription and $299 from my checking account linked to my phone number...I almost called but decided to Google the name of the company first. I found this thread...I don't fall for scams nor give out my info, but some do. DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!

I received a voicemail today May 3, 2021, in Florida. It seems this scammer is a chameleon changing numbers. Some people report the name as "PP" but I heard "PT". They also added a touch of legitimacy by having my first name in the message. I'm sure the message started before my recording started, so here is what I heard: “...dollars is going to be charged from your checking account or plastic card which is attached in our system within 24 hours for the auto renewal of your subscription. If you want to cancel the subscription please call us immediately at support at 812-370-2288. I repeat the number 812-370-2288. ('My first name') if you are not the subscriber of PT Care Maintenance Service please disconnect the call immediately and call us at 1-800-370-2288 thank you and have a wonderful day.”

Beware and do not call them back as they will probably ask for personal information under the guise of verifying your account. Stay safe out there.

I received the exact same message on 4-30-2021 at 2:18 PM, even to the $299.00 added to a bankcard. Had to listen about five times to understand what was being said. This activity will continue until the penalty is such that it cost them to much to get caught. Each and everyone receiving this junk needs to have a ready place to report it so it can identified and shut down. Then we all will have a nice day.

I got a voice message system when I returned the cal which was instantly disconnected. so I got my phone to send a message that they would be reported to the FBI They now claim to be out of NY Heres the new number 315 328 0700 and 315 320 7006. Hopefully theses s******s will be caught and sent to jail for life. They do not deserve have freedom scamming other people for hard earned money whilst they probably live in luxury

In fact, I’m starting to think, the only way to be safe, is to some very desperate people, it’s safer to join them!?

I have gotten this call and message several times on my landline. I have an answering machine and get so many robo calls I never answer but let it go to message. I do not have any subscriptions whatsoever and never heard of PP Care Maintenance Service and you can tell by the message left it is a machine doing the talking so I know its a scam. I finally got rid of the social security number threat calls by telling them they had just reached an FBI agent. They were too speechless to hang up the phone for a about 30 seconds.

When I have time, I use a Google Voice number to call these scammers back and pretend that I have a Windows 3.1 machine with a dial-up modem. Takes 20 minutes to (pretend to) boot. Then, as they rattle off the software you're supposed to install so they can take over your machine, I look each one up, looking at the image results on Google so I can describe the screen in detail. Of course, it takes a really long time to "load" each one. When they suggest calling me back later (because they are as annoyed as heck by now), I say "please! no! - I can't afford to have $299 taken from my account" - and follow with some story about being broke and that I just sold my mother's wheelchair to make rent or other silly sad tales.

I got one to stay on for 40 minutes before he gave up.

Anyway - SCAM. BEWARE. Do NOT install any software they tell you to over the phone. If you are still worried - look up the legitimate company if it exists. And REPORT it.

Received the same message this morning from 805 219-8012 and called & they answered... it was some guy who spoken broken English with a very heavy accent. He answered the phone as if I was calling him on his personal cell to have a friendly chat. It wasn't until after I asked that he confirmed it was someone from PP Care Maintenance Services who I was speaking with. I asked if I could have his name which he glady gave...Justin Robson was the name he said but when I asked him to please spell it out for me he got upset & said Robxon. Then proceeded to tell me he would clear up the issue right away & asked if I was in front of my computer. He said it wasn't possible without me being on my computer & logged in. He would guide me through the process of canceling the non existing subscription. Once it became clear to him that I wasn't falling for it & knew he was a scammer he hung up.

There are older folks & other people that might not know any better and the fact that they take advantage of them like this absolutely infuriates me. PLEASE TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO BEWARE

I got the same call on Dec. 1, 2020, and it went to my message service. The caller said that my auto-renewal subscription would take money from my bank account if I did not call within 24 hours and cancel the subscription. I called the number and got the message "Not able to take your call right now." I did a search for the company name - PP Care Maintenance Service and added "scam" to my search and found the scam warning on this page. The number given by the caller was 518-545-5574.

There were 37 reports of this scam when I found this page. One person suggested that the purpose of this call might be to create a calling list of current phone numbers that could be sold to someone who wanted a list of current phone numbers.

I reported the call to my bank.

They had us download 3 softwares:

LMIRescue, Awesun (TeamViewer I think) and AnyDesk - then they had us go to the bannk account and once we figured out something was wrong they opened notes and made threats when I wouldn't respond to their calls from (213)4180023

I did find a company in MissourI "PFH Care Maintenance", but it is a service for child crisis intervention. Don't think that I signed up for that service.
