PP Care Maintenance Scam: Subscription Renewal

I also got the same message this morning and the number that they used to call me is 904-512-1833. Does anybody have any idea what we should do? Should we do anything I mean I want to make sure they ain't going to take the money off my card?

Just got it from 765-5547-4711. Was an automatic voice on my answering machine, so that raised a red flag. They claimed that they would take out $991 from my credit card or checking account.

Today 5/7/21 I received the call from PT care maintenance. (845)285-6871 from New York was the number they called from. I received the same message about a subscription and $299 from my checking account linked to my phone number...I almost called but decided to Google the name of the company first. I found this thread...I don't fall for scams nor give out my info, but some do. DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!

I received the same message but it didnt state the amount and was a different number 474-277-4117

similiar call on 3 May 21...called back...definitely an Indian/PakistanI Dialect. Hung up when I said I was reporting them...

I received a voicemail today May 3, 2021, in Florida. It seems this scammer is a chameleon changing numbers. Some people report the name as "PP" but I heard "PT". They also added a touch of legitimacy by having my first name in the message. I'm sure the message started before my recording started, so here is what I heard: “...dollars is going to be charged from your checking account or plastic card which is attached in our system within 24 hours for the auto renewal of your subscription. If you want to cancel the subscription please call us immediately at support at 812-370-2288. I repeat the number 812-370-2288. ('My first name') if you are not the subscriber of PT Care Maintenance Service please disconnect the call immediately and call us at 1-800-370-2288 thank you and have a wonderful day.”
Beware and do not call them back as they will probably ask for personal information under the guise of verifying your account. Stay safe out there.

Got the same call today, but there is no history of it in my recent call log. Strange.

I received the exact same message on 4-30-2021 at 2:18 PM, even to the $299.00 added to a bankcard. Had to listen about five times to understand what was being said. This activity will continue until the penalty is such that it cost them to much to get caught. Each and everyone receiving this junk needs to have a ready place to report it so it can identified and shut down. Then we all will have a nice day.

Another number came up from PP Care Maintenance Services 323-826-5523. I did manage to get someone but I could not understand him Beware

510.929.3251 id the number I was called from. "Have a nice day" at the end, sentiment of a robot.

Received call this afternoon, same M O different # 701-850-8859

New phone number for this scam as I received an identical message. I got a voice message system when I returned the cal which was instantly disconnected. so I got my phone to send a message that they would be reported to the FBI They now claim to be out of NY Heres the new number 315 328 0700 and 315 320 7006. Hopefully theses scumbags will be caught and sent to jail for life. They do not deserve have freedom scamming other people for hard earned money whilst they probably live in luxury

In fact, I’m starting to think, the only way to be safe, is to some very desperate people, it’s safer to join them!!??
Because this aging Baby Boomers generation... suck at computers!!
We don’t know, the How! So, how can U find the bad guys??!! I’m hoping my Daughters, kids (they are 24 & 21) will live in a world, w/ a crime free, web! With privacy too!

My phone has been ringing off the hook, over the past few months, it’s just getting worse & worse! For people!!

At least that’s what I think it’s about! Just plain scared silly humans.... turning to crime out of desperation, due to COVID!

I was just called about this which raised suspicion, hence my comment- verbiage exactly as previously stated but other victims-

I received a computer voice call with the same transcript others have shared, re: renewal. It didn't say an amount, but that it was going to be automatically charged to my credit card. This time they called from 208-207-7542.

Just received the same call from 805-633-0350 and said that they wanted to send a cancelation form over the internet. They said I would need to be logged onto my computer and they would send something (I assume it was a remote control script) for me to fill out. The person on the phone was not an accomplished English language speaker. Sounded Indian, PakastanI maybe. Not sure

Just received a call from this company, the # is 417-449-4756.It let an automatic voicemail on my phone. It is also saying that they will withdraw a $$$$ out my account with a card that was provided.

I got the same call from 832-645-5248. Called back and told them to cancel whatever it is they're charging me for they wanted to get into my computer. Told them I didn't have it with me and the guy got mad and hung up on me. Reported it to the FTC

Finally a response which tell me what the scam is about - computer access. You don't need this to cancel a subscription.

I got the PP Care call from 720-797-8144.

The PP Care Maintenance Scam and Transcript are now calling on 720-912-3630.

I got the call and when I try to call back the line is always busy.

I got the same call at 7 a.m. from 260-297-4206. The voice message said PP Care Maintenance. The guy who answered the phone said it was my Geek Squad firewall protection account. I have no such account.
