Online Threat Alerts (OTA) - Alerting you to scams and frauds.
Scamming - Fraud
Do not call 1-844-617-5519. It is a fake technical support telephone number being used by scammers. The scammers send fake "renewal" emails like the one below asking potential victims to contact them. If the scammers are contacted, they will attempt to trick their victims into giving them their account credentials, personal and financial information. They may also ask their potential victims to give them remote access to their computers. With remote access, the scammers may install spyware on their potential victims' computers.

The format of the phone # is a dead giveaway that something is fishy. US phone #s aren't in a 2-digit format. Also the name in the email itself didn't match the name in the email address, so I did some googling that led me here. Got this on Jan 11, 2021.
