Country Code 852 Whatsapp Scam - Japanese Girl in Hong Kong

Scammers are sending random area coe 852 scam Whatsapp messages from +63 telephone numbers claiming they want to visit potential victims. The scammers will claim they are Japanese girls living in Hong Kong and ask what city their potential victims are from. The scammers will claim they have a business trip to the same city their potential victims are from at the end of the year and want to meet them for coffee.

The scammers will then offer their so-called work number(a +852 area code telephone number) to their potential victims and asked to be added.

    Got a message from 852 5146 3698 that just says "Hello, long time no see" and WhatsApp says it is a business account. Went online to check the area code in case it actually was someone I met a few years ago and found this, so thank you. :)

She talks about her shoe company, her divorce from her husband, her 5-year-old daughter - a very intelligent person. On which trading is carried out only by this group. They sell their shares by introducing people like you.

    Be careful, she's very smart. Video calls are not a problem for her, she invites you to them. From the beginning I pretended to play her game and she thought she was playing me.     I received WhatsApp msg from this number 852 6743 1333 (name Adaroma). Whoever sent that msg to me to claim a gift card and all kind of c**p. I immediately blocked this person/number. You should all do that and do not reply or try to discover who they are because there are many scammers sending msg in WhatsApp also via text.

    I've gotten several of these - the first two surprisingly came from direct texts - don't know how they got my cell phone #. Two more came via Skype and two more came from LinkedIn, the latter being scary because that site has too much personal information. The MO is always the same - they are either gold traders, into crypto or bitcoin, etc. They always more or less talk over your head so they must have a script for the various financial items they say they are selling/investing in. Then they always want you to move over to WhatsApp (or Telegram) and as soon as you do, you get a photo of a gorgeous young Asian girl. Then they want a picture of you and, of course, you are "very handsome."

    This is hilarious, I think the scam is evolving so be cautious out there. The entire time I felt SCAM written all over it, but was bored so played along.

    She kept chatting to me for a while, asked me to use Telegram instead so chatted to her there for about 3hrs. I only replied when I had a moment to play the game but her replies were always very quick. She just happens to live in Australia like me but she is currently in HK settling properties after her divorce. My one is a half Korean Chinese girl. She is very pretty. I love her. She can't wait to meet me for a coffee when she comes back to Aus and maybe we were meant to be. She knows there are not many good people out there but she really is one of them and would never do anything bad to anyone. She also can't speak English very well, even though she was raised in Aus, and forgets info about herself that she has told me...2 minutes ago. Eventually she "had to go to sleep" but will continue our courtship tomorrow. I can't wait to see how this ends.

      I am another one on for the list Justice McCall then on whats app it's BaI quin. number 85246846525. Owns a shoe company and has a 5 yr old daughter separated from her husband. Very beautiful woman we spoke to for weeks she sent videos extra and was great to talk with. She goes on to say her uncle used to work for Morgan Stanley and he gives her an investment heads up. Sends you a link to join and shows you her profits and wow. I said good for you and it went on for a week or more selling this uncle thing. Eventually, I told her I was broke and about to go into bankruptcy and she was too young for me lol as I had a wife.

      Guys, please welcome another member in the club. I was first contacted in Linkedin, where she is presented as Donna Hoover; in Whatsapp the name changed to Zina or BaI Qian. I 've had some interaction, not so deep, it looked very suspicious from the beginning. Same life story (shoe factory etc), so that she can send messages and photos to multiple recipients and save time and effort. I would love to play a prank to her with the ID she sent, unless the other friend above is truly in love and wants to try his luck - respected, although not advisable.

    There's a lot of these and they are all scams. They try to to gain your trust but they will manipulate you and ask for money. I received this number on signal, twitter, FB messenger account, etc. Just dont reply. I have been a victim already of these so I just dont respond anymore if it's not in my contacts.

    I get messages from people like this all the time. Sometimes it starts on Twitter. Then it moves to WhatsApp or Telegram. I like to play with them for a while. Make them think they're making progress. Then I ask for a video chat. But most won't do a video chat, cuz unlike a pic, they can't fake a video chat. That's usually the end of it.

    A girl named Agnes Turner (Chinese name BaI Qian) claiming to be from Shenzhen in China contacted me asking for assistance to set up business in Malta. The conversation sounded plausible for a while but then she asked for the chat to switch over to WhatsApp. I replied that WhatsApp is blocked in China however she sent me a Hong Kong number 852... This is where I became suspicious. She is still active on LinkedIn so if this is a scammer then please beware. I will keep her (or him) on the hook for a while but see how long it lasts when I do not connect on WhatsApp. Thanks for the forum.

    I didn’t respond to this one since I do t have the time. The last 2-3 I responded to knowing they are scammers. When I bored I like to see how good they are. The last one acted like she was contacting her vet because her dog very sick. I said wrong number. She explained more about her dog. I actually looked up the place she said she was contacting and gave her the number. But of course that’s not the point. She continued chatting me up and apparently forgot about her poor sick dog. I forget what it ended on. Either she mentioned crypto, and I blocked her or she tried to get me to meet her on another platform and I blocked her. Both of those are signals to me that the chat will be boring now so I don’t bother.
