The fake FedEx text message is a scam, therefore, recipients are asked not to click the link in it. The fake text claims the recipients' item is detained pending delivery at a central warehouse and ask them to click the link to receive it. But, the link goes to a fake FedEx or phishing website that steals personal and financial information.

I got one too. Not FedEx but similar. Stated as below...hello ***: Your item lPS_*** is detained in the distribution warehouse . Go to our system to get your order: egasuv.me/WT18otII have removed my name and phone number, but very similar type of deal. Came from a Quebec area code under the Subject line “333Serviceinfo”
