The link in the scam goes to covid19Support.gov.gh, which is a fake government website set up by the scammers. The fake website will attempt to trick visitors into sharing it with their family and friends, which will take them to phishing and malware websites.
The phishing websites steal account credentials, personal and financial information, while the malware websites infect computers or mobile devices with viruses, spyware, ransomware, or other malware.
