BT Openreach Scam Calls - Technical Support Scammers

A so-called "John" called me from telephone number 02036300136 claiming to be from BT Open Reach security department. He claims there is some so-called security problem with my computer, but I know BT does not make outgoing calls like this. It is an obvious scam, so if you have received similar calls, hang up, do not follow the callers' instructions. The scammers may also claim they are from Microsoft or Amazon and claim your computer has been hacked.

Someone told me the scammers called him and claim there was something wrong with his internet connection and instructed him to give them remote access to his computer. But, since he was scammed before, he knew it was a trick and hung up.
