1800491593 Scam Text Messages

Scammers are sending fake text messages to potential victims asking them to call telephone number 1800491593. If the telephone number is called, the scammers may say they are Amazon or PayPal support and ask for credit card detail and account credentials. If the requested information is given to the scammers, they will use it to steal their potential victims' money.

A 1800491593 Scam Text Message

"you have paid $1969.00 against Lenovo Intel core i9 Touch laptop at AMZ. Order id 120-AY-55ZYO on 2021-04-02. Helpline (+61)1800491593 if you have any dispute."

The fake Amazon text claims the recipients purchased a Lenovo laptop and they should call 1800491593 to dispute the transaction if they did not make the purchase. If the telephone number 1800491593 in the fake text message is called, the scammers responsible for the scam text will ask for account credentials, personal and financial information which they will use fraudulently.
