Is Walmart Winner of The Day a Scam

Scammers are using fake "Walmart Winner Of The Day" scam text messages below and the websites "c8gvs info," "c9gmv info" and "walmart-na.winnerof .today" to steal personal and financial information. The scammers create a fake text message with a link to "w8Fmv info" and send it to potential victims. The scammers hope their potential victims will take the bait and click the link in it, which goes to fake websites that will claim the visitors have won free gifts and other prizes. The fake websites will then ask visitors to submit personal and personal information in order to receive their so-called free gifts or prizes. But, if the requested information is submitted to the scammers, it will be stolen and used fraudulently.

The link in the Walmart Text scam often redirects to this fake Walmart website: walmart-na.winnerof.today

    It’s horrible & pathetic how these scammers get people to submit their personal & private information to fo nothing but financial harm. I’m sick and tired of every scammer who has done this to innocent hard working men & women and I pray to god they pay for their crimes!

    Links to both the official looking United States Postal Service website and the FedEx official looking website both showing the package was detained “Walmart win package containing an iPad” with instructions to click on the link to complete the shipping information. I did not since Walmart already has my address for previous shipments. BEWARE all!
