Norton Subscription Renewal Scam - 1(833)348-1339
an anonymous user from: Ashburn, Virginia, United States

I got this email sent to me. I called the number and someone answered claiming to be able to help. I asked if they could tell me the last four digits of the card that was used but they refused. They then told me that I needed to go to a link on my laptop in order to cancel the payment instead of them doing it on their end. I said I wasn't on my laptop so they said if it was via phone I needed to download an app in order to get my refund back.
Pretty insane how if they were the company that messed up THEY should be the one to cancel just like any other company. So stupid.
