855-507-7888 Scam Calls from Scammers - 8555077888

Very convincing voice. The call originated from a (520)843-6550 Arizona number.

Below is the script:

“Mendez with SLA hey this is Haley Mendez with SLA servicing if you can give me a call back when you receive this at 855-788-2295 I'm actually just giving you a call in regards to your student loans um we are starting screenroom it for all loan forgiveness files and possible long discharge files it will be a bit more challenging as the deadline to come um so we don't anyone status to change especially for these programs so if you had a few minutes I really just wanted to go over those details with you but just in case again my phone number is 855-788-2295 but I do hope to hear from you soon and have a great day to opt out of future calls please call 202-908-3064…”

LOL! It sounds like Hailey Mendez is single-handedly trying to help all of us get our student loans forgiven! Man, if only... Glad I did not call her back. My story is like everyone else's ~ she tells me to call her back at that (855) number, but the missed call was from a totally different one. Stay safe & protected out there, folks.

I also got a call from a Haley Mendez about loan forgiveness pre-enrollment. The number the call was from was 585-326-5042 (Akron, OH) but they asked for me to call back at 855-567-0095. She did sound very credible, and what she was saying does apply to me.

I also got a Kaylee or Haley Mendez with SLA servicing...told me to call 855-765-2007 but call originated from 240-559-5729. VERY credible voice and message as I do have student loans and would LOVE to have them forgiven!!

I got the same voicemail, from a Haley Mendez with SLA Servicing, the phone numbers she left are 855-765-2007 and 202-908-3064 to opt out. The call came from 612-428-4384.

Hailey Mendes with FLA Servicing. 855-788-2287. Student loans pre-enrollment for all forgiveness files and possible loan discharge files. "It's gonna be a bit more challenging as the deadlines come on, so we don't want anyone's status to change especially for these programs.

I've been getting calls from this number 855-507-7888 and 855-771-4442. Kelly Mendez leaving voicemails about a student loan. I've never got a student loan.

I can’t believe how good this one was. I almost called. Thank you for everyone posting here. The call originated from 332-895-6315 in my caller ID.

Thank goodness for threads like this. Miss Haley left me a message about my student loans. I am in a loan forgiveness program, so I would have been a good target. Trust no one who calls from these places.

Got it from 256-918-2039 to respond to Haley Mendez at SLA Servicing at 855-567-0095. Interesting as I never had a student loan! The message ended with ability to opt out by calling 202-908-3064....

Call from a Alabama area code (my phone number is alabama as well) Same call from FLA servicing telling me to call a 855number for student loan forgiveness. So sick of these people calling me. Or call 202-908-3064 to remove my name. I didn't call either. F them

I paid off my student loan 21 years ago. Shay Bostick called me about paying off my student loan and asked me to call 855-607-3133. I was advised to call 202-908-3064 if I wanted my name removed from their list. I did not call either number.

Also got a call from "SLA Servicing" (call from Florida) from "Hailey Mendez" asking me to call a different number 855-500-7117. Scam.

I got a call from 859-818-6097(Florence,NY) - Saying Mendez with SLA Servicing asking for a call back at 855-567-0097 - Loan forgiveness and loan repayment coming to the end and they want to verify my information. Also, provided an opt-out from future call # 202-908-3064, I didn't call either as it was shady, as this was left as a voice message but altogether my student loans were paid off a long time ago.

I just received a call. Same message but from a person who went by what sounded like Shay Bostik(last name may be wrong but definitely said Shay). Verbatim same VM as mentioned in other comments.

Got the same message today- one call came from 256-918-2039 and the other one was 430-203-3020

Same exact message verbatim. Thank you for posting and letting me know it's a fraud - I am eligible for loan forgiveness and I thought it was legit!

I also received the same voicemail message from "Haley Mendez with FLA servicing", however the number that shows up on my phone is 323.507.0273. Her "call back" number is 855.484.1808. The last option says if I'd like to opt out of future calls, to call 202.980.3064.

Today I received one 1/26/22 from Haley Mendez, number is 3235070221, her callback was 8554841808. Also for student loans, worked for "SLA servicing", sounded fishy went to look her up on linkedIn and found this website as the first thing.

On 1-13-2022, received a call from a Haley Mendez, number 806-605-6014, reference student loan forgiveness. I never had a student loan. Her call back number is 855-507-7888. SCAM!!!

Same phone call, same person, same number 855-788-2292. Most should know by now that this is a scam the Department of Edu or any loan place wouldn't call you like that. They will email you or send something in the mail before they call. Tired of these idiot scammers.

I received scam call from Haley Mendez at 855-788-2292 saying they're calling for student loan forgiveness/deferment. However the number that showed up on caller ID was 857-971-9461 which also shows up as a scam for income tax/debt relief. So don't trust either number
