Is One Country Giveaway a Scam? Customer Review
Is One Country Giveaway a Scam? Customer Review

I have been billed for 5 months for $15 each month and cannot even log in to their website as a registered user. I have opened a case with PayPal and they have closed it because I cannot provide a copy of the billing agreement! That's because I never had one... they will be taking another $15 out on October 20th and I have no way to contact them. I have sent e-mails every month with absolutely no response. Nothing I can do?

There's absolutely something you can do. Close your whole PayPal down. Problem solved. Then create another with a different email or phone number later.

They hide the "free entry" in their fine print. They hide it as "alternate method to enter".
This is considered legal, but is scummy behavior that tries to deceive people into thinking that paying is the only way to enter.

I can not enter it too. Besides who says it is 2.5 milon dollars? You can not have it without paying taxes first and they spent maybe 400 thousand and diduct 2.5 million for which you would pay taxes.

They made unauthorized charges to my account and when I emailed them to ask them how they received my information they give me general copy and pasted responses. I have to call my bank and file a dispute.

Hi. I emailed them at support-onecountry.com and asked them to cancel my membership because I was unable to login to my account or even figure out what entries my money was going to each month. After emailing them I got a response that my membership had been cancelled and thankfully I didn’t get charged anymore. Try emailing them at support-onecountry.com again and I hope this helps.

I realized, after two months of a $15 per month membership, that I cannot afford to continue. I notified them to cancel on their website customer service, well enough on time to cancel the September charge - which went through anyway. I prefer to get a company's email address and send it from my email, so there's a record of all communications, but their website doesn't list one. After being charged for September, I've called three times in the two weeks since and left messages. It's easy to miss email responses in a full inbox, but the phone is always with me. Will try calling each hour of the business day, and begin a dispute report with the bank.
Did their fine print say one is obligating themselves to a year when the monthly amount is signed up with? Mea culpa, if.
If they try to prove to the bank that I didn't contact them on time, they'll have to change dates on, or not admit to, the phone records, and lie.

OneCountry is shady, just read the terms and conditions. I asked them if they used a third party for the drawings to make it fair for everyone, but they would not answer me. I continued to ask and they blocked me. once I started raising more of a fuss they unblocked me and apologized. The way it is set up they can literally continue changing who the winner is until they find one that they feel would represent them well. Don't give them your money, if you want to enter a sweepstake or giveaway always read the terms and conditions and find someone that uses a third party
