The email address alert@notify-wellsfargo-offical.com is a fake, scam, and does not belong to Wells Fargo. The fake email address and domain name have been created by scammers and are being used to trick potential victims into believing the email scams they are receiving are coming from Wells Fargo. Therefore, recipients of messages from the same email address are asked not to follow the instructions in them, they should just delete them.

I recently filed a “forward mail” form with the postal service. I got an email from alerts-notifywellsfargo.com that noted my new forwarding address. I am not a Wells Fargo customer.
