If you have receive the same Wise Account scam text or something similar, please do not click the link in it. Wise always addresses you by the first name you entered on their website. And, if they ask you to follow a link in an email, you’ll always be directed to a website which starts with https://wise.com. But, you shoulod double check the spelling of their website because scammers will sometimes change one letter so the address looks very similar.

I had the same today, I forwarded to my bank.
I received a text today purportedly from Wise, advising me similar to the example above, the difference was in GBP and it gave the name of a Mr Ahmed and the amount of £3200. I was pretty sure it was a scam as I do not do online banking, and I had never heard of Wise., but to be doubly sure I contacted my bank, they confirmed it was a scam attempt and told me to delete it without tapping the link which I did.I wanted to block the number, but as no number shown, I could not.I will follow the checks also given by WIse above re address. How do these scammers get my mobile number, and can I stop them targeting me?
