Scammers are sending the Post Office Depot 38 scam text below with a link to the phishing website: post-office-depot-38.com. The phishing website purports to be the UK Post Office and claims a package needs to be redelivered. It then requests a fee of £1.45 for the re-delivery and requests your credit card details and security code. But, if the requested information is sent, it will be used fraudulently.

I almost fell for this, as the website looks so similar to the actual post office website. I entered in quite a few details such as my address and my contact details, now I am terrified of what may happen. Someone give me reassurance that everything will me okay, please!

We had the same sort of message about delivery not being made as we were not in. However we had been expecting a delivery and had a genuine message to expect the delivery, that came from a similar number. When the delivery did arrive I actually said to the driver sorry we missed you earlier, he didn’t say he had attempted to deliver earlier. So this could be more involved and elaborate scam, or a coincidence?
