I got scammed by these crooks. They piggyback Walmart and appear to be genuine. They are not! I have reported them to my bank and the FBI.

    • June 5, 2023 at 11:48 AM by an anonymous user from: Whitehead Crossroads, Florida, United States

Same here. I have forwarded their emails to the Federal Trade Commission, the FBI, the BBB and the Walmart fraud investigations divisions.

I did a survey and picked a set of knives for a shopping fee of $7.95. it showed up on my back as majorfitapparell/inspira and a few days later there was a charge of $69.89. I called the number listed and they told me it was for a subscription. I asked for a refund but she only cancelled the subscription. The next day I called & asked for a refund, she said no & hung up on me. I called my bank & the next day I rec'd my refund from Americantechdiscountsupply.com - All 3 companies are involved and are scammers.

    • May 18, 2023 at 11:29 AM by an anonymous user from: Copperopolis, California, United States

      Same thing happened to me

    • May 9, 2023 at 10:01 AM by an anonymous user from: Cocoa, Florida, United States

Same that happened to me. I paid the $6.95, then got a fraud alert from my bank two weeks later that they were trying to charge me $66.89. My bank refused payment to them after I told them I did not ok the charge. They also removed the $6.95 and are researching. I will probably end up paying the 6.95 because o did authorize it but I just consider it payment for being so stupid. Won’t happen again!

    • May 2, 2023 at 10:31 PM by an anonymous user from: Ridgeland, Mississippi, United States

  • April 4, 2023 at 11:32 PM by an anonymous user from: Atlanta, Georgia, United States

A total scam! I paid the shipping for a special backpack cooler and never received it. Then I was charged $69.95 monthly for some subscription but never received anything. I called to stop the charges and they said they would take off one of the monthly charges if I did not call and report them to my credit card company.

    Avoid at all costs! SCAM!

  • February 8, 2023 at 8:57 PM by an anonymous user from: Ashburn, Virginia, United States

I had 7.98 left on a visa gift card. Used the 7.95 for shipping.

They actually called me. It was automated and I pressed 1. Then got connected to a woman that sounded like she had an Asian accent. She's telling me she's from amazon and something something...I asked her to repeat what she said, and that's when she hung up. I tried calling the number back and it's disconnected. I can't believe Facebook worries about fact checking when they should be checking their platform for "spam & scams".

  • February 3, 2023 at 2:11 PM by an anonymous user from: West Point, Georgia, United States

I'm still waiting on my answer as to why you felt like taking out 68.89 out of my account. Would like it refunded to my account since never recieved anything like the cookware that was suppose to have free and 7.95 for shipping. I will be contact the BBB on monday if don't get a respond from you...

    • February 21, 2023 at 7:34 PM by an anonymous user from: Crownsville, Maryland, United States

  • January 23, 2023 at 3:03 PM by an anonymous user from: Carloover, Virginia, United States

Like others responding to this question, I was duped by a "customer appreciation" survey that supposedly came to me from Kohls in an email. For answering their seemingly legitimate questions, I was entitled to a pricey Ninja Knife Set, and all I had to do was pay for the shipping.. $7.95. When that charge showed up on my credit card, it appeared to be from an appliance store in Ca. Six days later, a charge for $68.89 was attempted at that same retailer using my credit card but the transaction was declined due to the fact that the cardholder was not present in this cash and carry store. ( Thank goodness for that, and for the fraud alert from my company.) I immediately contacted the cc comapany to dispute that charge and to reverse the $7.95 charge made a few days earlier. I have contacted Kohls Corporate offices to let them know that their name is being used in this scam. Since then though, I have gotten numerous similar bogus emails... appearing to be from Kohls(again), T-Mobile, and Walmart. In each, I have been "chosen to receive" or "won" items of value. All these emails come from an address that is very similar. It shows up as "generic company@netorgft#.onmicrosoft.com" ( the number is always different). BEWARE! and if they try to scam you, please take time to notify not only your bank or card comapnay, but also the retailer they are impersonating. Never use your debit card either, as it is much harder to recover your money from the bank vs a cc company that can reverse the charge for you!- Collectively, let's try to slow these crooks down or shut them down completely!

Oh boy. I'm in trouble. I just paid the 7.95. What do I do. The damage isn't done yet but now reading all of these I'm nervous. Calling the bank in the morning. This one was for a never dull ninja knife set which details at 269.

  • January 19, 2023 at 9:03 AM by an anonymous user from: Spring, Texas, United States

I did the Walmart survey after purchasing items and thought it was real. I paid 6.95 for cookware shipping, then checked bank statement it was 68.89! What can I do! That’s so wrong to do elderly people like this.

    • February 17, 2023 at 11:24 AM by an anonymous user from: Broomfield, Colorado, United States

Do not fall for these offers or any other offers!there is no such thing as FREE,!just cause you are old doesnt mean you have to be a dummy!call these stores to verify or google it and you will see if its a scam or not. Your bank will get it back for you.

    • February 14, 2023 at 2:49 PM by an anonymous user from: Redmond, Washington, United States

I did the same for the cookware, but not only did they charge the $7.95 & 68.89, they also took out a charge of $54.95 between that time! You may want to go back & check your bank statements!

    • January 21, 2023 at 5:41 PM by an anonymous user from: Weare, New Hampshire, United States

I also got the so called free coffee maker from kohls for 6.95. Never received anything. I tried calling and The phone number is a scam. It all was a scam. It took the 6.95 and then I close the credit card. I am still trying to dispute this.

  • January 18, 2023 at 3:09 AM by an anonymous user from: Ashburn, Virginia, United States

I email support@tryperfectshopdiscount.com on December 09, 2022 asking “where is my order”? I received a reply to my email telling me to contact customer service:

    1 (855) 454-9543 or 1 (855) 825-7362

I called 16 times on Sat. Dec. 10, 2022. Finally spoke with someone name Dean on Sun. Dec.11, 2022, I explained to her I never received the cookware that I had won, she said it a monthly contest and the $6.95 was the entry fee. I explained to her that’s not what the article said, I told her that I’m reporting the company to the BBB. She said the company would reimburse my $6.95 if I would not report them. Well guess what I got my $6.95, however, I just open my credit card statement they also charge me $68.89 that I wasn’t aware of. I’m not going to reach out to them I contacted my credit card company to file a dispute against them tomorrow Wed. 01/18/23 I will be contacting the BBB to file a claim against them.

    • February 10, 2023 at 5:44 PM by an anonymous user from: Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States

  • January 17, 2023 at 9:18 PM by an anonymous user from: Ashburn, Virginia, United States

I completed an entry that said I won a Keurig & I just had to pay for shipping. A month later I finally call & they are like oh that’s just to enter the sweepstakes. I said nowhere on that page did it say sweepstakes because I wouldn’t have wasted my money. I deal with legal documents all day long so I read the fine print & I know it for a fact it never said that but they wouldn’t budge. Luckily it was only $7 but it’s the principle.

    • January 23, 2023 at 3:18 PM by an anonymous user from: Carloover, Virginia, United States

PLEASE REPORT THEM! and check your statement for additional charges.

  • January 12, 2023 at 7:01 PM by an anonymous user from: Redmond, Washington, United States

  • January 5, 2023 at 4:56 PM by an anonymous user from: Arlington, Virginia, United States

Yes, I usually read the fine print but didn't this time, read after I say something that didn't seem right. Read the terms and found out what was not right. Bait and Switch.

  • January 1, 2023 at 8:12 AM by an anonymous user from: Henniker, Weare, New Hampshire, United States

I always read the terms and conditions before I buy anything online. If you do this it will save you time and money. It states clearly you will be charged for a subscription for $54 and change every month for use of the pots and pans and you may not even win them. Then you have to download Boom Boom nutritional app and stay in good standing with them for an angry in their top rewards program.

But it does state you can mail in an entry on an index card to a specific address for a free mail in entry and no purchase is necessary to win.

Good luck everyone and pleas from here on out read the fine print not the reviews on the page as those are part of a scam.

    • January 5, 2023 at 5:09 PM by an anonymous user from: Loudoun, Ashburn, Virginia, United States

We paid the shipping fee and then we were charged 68.89 like you so I called the number and the lady said it was all there in the fine print. We did not recall anything in any fine print and I tried to get my money refunded and she would not refund the shipping charge and she would only refund 50% of the 68.89. She also said we were signed up for a subscription for them. She said she would cancel the account. I believe this is a scam website.

I told them I was reporting them to bbb and they came back with 50% refund. I told them if I didn’t get 100% they would be reported. They refunded it all quickly. (833) 643-7043

      • January 11, 2023 at 12:09 AM by an anonymous user from: Henniker, Weare, New Hampshire, United States

    • December 8, 2022 at 5:47 PM by an anonymous user from: Loudoun, Ashburn, Virginia, United States

Better check your bank statement. My mom had another withdrawal of 54.95.

  • December 5, 2022 at 7:33 PM by an anonymous user from: Downtown Redmond, Redmond, Washington, United States

I also got scammed think by it was a legitimate offer because I filled out a survey from “Walmart”. Only had to pay $7.95 for shipping for a set of pots and pans. My husband said I was just charged $198 on my bank card. So stupid! I usually don’t fall for these promotions

    • December 6, 2022 at 8:01 PM by an anonymous user from: West Point, Georgia, United States

I did the same thing from a banner on Facebook and no problem still waiting on the pots but was only charged the 7.95

  • November 26, 2022 at 9:09 PM by an anonymous user from: Downtown Redmond, Redmond, Washington, United States

I fell into this trick because they used a legitimate company to do the survey. So me being kind of gullible I took the survey and went through the motion. But then decided to read the comments and they were all positive so I'm was like wow! But afterwards I began to question the legitimacy of the website and looked for it with no result! I had saved the info and went through the survey again and read the comments again, funny all the comments were the same with different names at the top! Lol! What a fool I was! So I immediately responded to the email I received for order confirmation on a subscription not the gift lol! So I shot them 4 emails back to back telling them that I didn't want the gift or the subscription to please cancel the order...no response so I called the number and waited and waited then they would come on asking for a call back number and I wouldn't lose my place in line? WTH! So I called my credit card company and cancelled my card only to find out that they was familiar with this and cancelled my card immediately. I will never fall for that again!

  • November 25, 2022 at 4:12 PM by an anonymous user from: Miami-Dade, Miami, Florida, United States

I also pay for shipping and handling for some pots and pans and and now I'm about to cancel my bank card because I feel like it's a scam I emailed them and I haven't got a reply back I did pay like $7.95 for shipping and handling

    • November 28, 2022 at 10:26 PM by an anonymous user from: Los Angeles, California, United States

I payed the $7.95 as well. I started looking for the website for legitimacy, to see if I should actually be expecting pots and pans to show up or not. I'ma still waiting, but would be nice to know if any1 else got them?

      • January 8, 2023 at 10:06 PM by an anonymous user from: Washington County, Whitehead Crossroads, Florida, United States

I called the number that another victim provided (833) 643-7043. Someone answered and cancelled my order and says I would receive a refund within 3-5 business days. I used a credit card, not debit.

  • November 17, 2022 at 9:23 PM by an anonymous user from: Wartburg, Tennessee, United States

I also got charged for the shipping and then the $68.89 . I contacted the bank and filed a dispute however today the charge went through so I do not know if I will be getting my money back. I dont like the fact there are 3 different email addresses connected with this

scam. I even contacted the state the email about the cooler was associated with and filed a complaint with them. I also checked the or4iginal email with the phot of the cooler and it is not even my email in the address to part.

  • November 10, 2022 at 5:43 PM by an anonymous user from: Anne Arundel County, Crownsville, Maryland, United States

After cancelling subscription did anyone get charged further?

  • November 7, 2022 at 9:14 PM by an anonymous user from: Cook, Chicago, Illinois, United States

Definitely a scam. No merchandise is coming, and they will continue to charge you a monthly charge for something in the fine print you agreed to. The only way to fix it is to cancel your credit card. Every phone number given goes unanswered or busy signal. Or, you will sit on hold forever and nobody ever answers. Best thing to do is not answer any short surveys that offer a free gift if you pay shipping and handling. Nothing is free, except your money going out the window to them. I too fell for this. I emailed them asking about the "free air fryer" that hadn't arrived after 2 weeks. They emailed me back with an apology and phone number. I called and unbelievably they answered. The customer service person was polite at first. As we talked I got more and more confused and she got more and more rude and irritated. She told me the 6.95 was S&H and entry fee me in a subscription, a subscription that charges 68.00 PER MONTH, for the privilege of being in the drawing for the air fryer but yet the air fryer had nothing to do with the subscription...WHAT? So if I don't win the air fryer, what of the 6.95? she then said with exasperation "well do you want the 6.95 back? I said well YA. I got a "confirmation email " I changed my debit card. Told the bank why. It's crazy what a fool I was.

  • November 3, 2022 at 9:01 AM by an anonymous user from: Loudoun, Ashburn, Virginia, United States

I just fell for it too. Got email from what I thought was from D**k's sporting good store saying to take a survey to win a YetI cooler. Paid the 6.95 and then was charged 68.89.

    • November 10, 2022 at 3:08 PM by an anonymous user from: Loudoun, Ashburn, Virginia, United States

Same here. Different $ figures ($7.95, then $54.95 for some "subscription" that supposedly was to receive $200 in coupons to "shop" with in "the online store". Found "the store" online, only to find totally unwanted products and any that would be of interest were overpriced and easily obtained at half or less pricing elsewhere. We're you successful in stopping the drain (automatic payment)? If so... please share your method. BTW, I received a call back after my not-so-nice banter with the "customer service gal", who offered me a 50% refund! I said "H**l n, I want it all back, and send me evidence that I "entered a drawing" by giving you $7.95 to pay shipping on the YetI backpack". Her answer was that I should go back to the "website" to read the particulars. Never encountered a website, merely a survey and "please pay the $7.95 for shipping the backpack"... THAT'S ALL! So angry that I was scammed, even angrier that I no longer trust ANY ONLINE PURCHASE WITH MY CREDIT CARD. Sorry for the lengthy rant, but I am livid and want to "get" these people . Any help or coroberation will be appreciated, thanks.

Fell for the same scam for $6.95 electronic pallet. Thanks goodness the card I used was a $25 gift card I received from someone else. Regardless, these people are a POS and need to be dealt with. I am filing a report with the FBI internet frauds division. I actually printed out my order confirmation for proof. I hope these people die from unnatural causes.

These are the same people behind UNIVERSALAPPLIANCECHOICECONSUMER.COM and INSECTIVEDUST.COM All three are connected with the Walmart email survey scam, which I fell for. UNIVERSAL billed my card INSECTIVE showed up in my cookies and when I complained TRYPERFECT sent fake REFUNDED email notice. GMAIL does not spam any of these. YAHOO spams all of them. • October 18, 2022 at 3:55 PM by an anonymous user from: Downtown Redmond, Redmond, Washington, United States

I too believe they are a scam. They got me for $6.95 supposedly for shipping. They charged my account a week later for $68. I called the phone number provided for them only for it to go unanswered. I changed my debit card number and disputed it with my bank. I, to date, have not received any merchandise. I am going to file with the FTC and report it to Facebook where I came across it. Just kind of ashamed of myself, I really should have known better. I guess we live and learn. Thanks for reading, hope it stops someone from making the same mistake.

    • October 18, 2022 at 11:32 PM by an anonymous user from: Marion County, Woodburn, Oregon, United States

I too was ripped off. I wont quietly walk away. They attempted to take an additional $87 from my account I put a stop payment on it and asked my bank to look into filing a fraud case against the company. The bank refunded both amounts they charged my card. I closed both my accounts. I will be more diligent next time. I am considering filing a small claim against their company. If its too good to be true its likely a scam.

  • October 18, 2022 at 6:30 AM by an anonymous user from: Downtown Redmond, Redmond, Washington, United States

I got scammed too. They got me for $7.95 and again for 54.95.

I also filed a fraud complaint with the FBI and would advise anyone else who has been victim of this to file a fraud complaint with the FBI.

Sites a total scam charged me $7.95 and then on the 3rd of the next month they charge me $68.95 without my consent during Labor Day weekend when I couldn't refute and then again on September 5th another $68.95 so they stole over 120 bucks from me of which I was only to recover about half back. I haven't mentioned that afterwards I've been receiving similar "prize winnings" in my email for the last few weeks.

  • September 30, 2022 at 3:20 PM by an anonymous user from: Ashburn, Virginia, United States

Complete scam. I took an online survey asking abou my shopping experience at Walmart (even though I don't shop there). When I completed the survey, I was advised that for a $7.95 shipping charge, I would get a set of cookware. After thinking about it, I figured it was a scam & canceled my card. The 7.95 charge already debited never received the cookware. I called the ony bank statement. 855-737-1395. 1st person I spoke with said they were a call center for Shop Perfect & that I had entered a sweepstakes & by entering this, I also agreed to a monthly subscription fee. Fortunately, I canceled my card.

So I called back, 2nd person said I had entered a raffle. I told her I hadn't. I completed a survey for Walmart & was supposed to get a cookware set. After threatening to csll the Better Business Bureau, they agreed to refubd my $7.95. I just hot email confirmation.

So if anyone else hot screwed by Shop Perfect survey, call this number

855-737-1395. It is a legitimate number

    • October 4, 2022 at 12:11 PM by an anonymous user from: Downtown Redmond, Redmond, Washington, United States

I called the number and it worked thank you so much. When I did the survey it said pay for shipping and handling it didn't say pay for a monthly subscription for raffles or drawing sweepstakes for the backpack for a chance to win for 7.95 a month. I told them I wasn't interested in sweepstakes I was interested in just getting the backpack so go ahead and just cancel this sweepstakes cancel my monthly subscription and withdraw me and get my money back. They continued to tell me that I would receive a confirmation email regarding the refund and cancellation of my subscription

The invoice shows a different company name that was paid to. I had contact my CC company filing a claim as fraud/scam. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. As I pound my forehead w the palm of my hand!

My bank's fraud alert dept even called me & I still approved it, because I thought it was shipping & handling for my new pots & pans.

Even better, I chose the middle set, because I didn't really NEED all the things included in the larger set.

    Like I said, stupid.

PayPal somehow got charged for it, so they're handling it & sending me a new card.
