I received this email today as well, 7/27/22. The number they gave me was (209) 690-7451, but I have yet to call it. Warned my family not to fall for it!
I received the same email and number only days after purchasing my Microsoft office download. So it seems they are targeting new subscription buyers. Because for a moment I thought did I accidentally purchase this protection when I download it my new Microsoft office 365. But I called the number after I blocked my number and a man sounded like he was at home trying to conduct business
I received this scam email yesterday (7/26) with this phone number (801) 895-4907 to call. I didn't give any info nor call the number, I just deleted it.
I received the scam email today, 07/26/2022. Called the phone number listed on the email (360) 851-4702. The person answered my call sounded like a foreigner. He asked me to download an app on my phone to get the money back. He told me that the app will connect me to their secured server so I might file a refund form. I declined to do so and filed a complaint at https://www.ic3.gov/Home/ComplaintChoice instead. IC3 is part of the FBI group for internet scamming.
