I happened to have a pen so I wrote the amount. Immediately a live rep (scammer) asks me the code I said it was an amount he starts to ask he my name & I tell him well you called me don’t you know it,? I tell him I know he is not from Amazon & I am contacting them. He makes a comment huffs off phone. I have been home bound for months so it’s true I have made multiple purchases & shipped them to various places! Amazon informs me my card is ok & I did the right thing. There is nothing on order. When you get a call never give out anything nothing especially the IRS or Social Security! If you get an email with an attachment from someone you know don’t open it! Contact sender first, no one in business or socially should or would send an attachment in an email without notifying they were sending it. I almost opened one from my cousin. I was just about to view but and realized he didn’t text me and he always notifies me, so that was a red flag! However with my training I still almost fell for it. I’m retired so I’m not as active online. It’s an easy scam to fall for especially during any holiday! My cousin always sends text we look at each others grand kids all the time!an anonymous userhttps://www.onlinethreatalerts.com/users/#an-anonymous-userApr 14, 2023 at 2:33 PM by Amazon Scam Calls Order Cancellation Confirmationan anonymous user from: New York, New York, United StatesBe very cautious about Amazon scam calls I just had one today they called me and then asked how could they help me?
