If you receive the Paxful Wallet Venmo scam text request below, please do not call the telephone number in it. The fake telephone number(877-982-6410) will transfer you to Venmo's or PayPal's customer service, it will instead, transfer you to a call center operated by scammers.
Paxful Wallet requests $99.99 You paid $99.99 to Paxful using Venmo. If not authorized by you, Call PayPal customer service +1(877)982-6410. (venmo is a service of PayPal)
The scammers will attempt to trick potential victims into disclosing their account credentials, personal and banking information, which they will use fraudulently.

I got this message a few days ago and figured it was probably a scam. Without responding, I waited a couple of days and another message from "Paxful" arrived saying that they had cancelled their request for payment. Well, that was easy. Now, I'm going to report them to those near & far. Bottom line...never click on any links and never respond. This has saved me numerous times!
knew it was a scam. However it list pay or decline. Is part of the scam me hitting decline and that gives them access to my account?
