I just received a very convincing email that claim I had "an EOB with an updated claim" from BlueCross BlueShield of Texas. Don't live in that state and have never lived in that state or had that insurance, but I did have Anthem BlueCross BlueShield insurance before years ago.
The email was sent from BCBSTX_noreply@bcbstx.com, but I don't know if that has been spoofed in some way.
I wasn't able to find any recent data breaches, but does anyone else have any info? BCBS doesn't seem to make it easy to report phishing emails, so I have to call them.

I have the same issue. Haven’t had BCBSIL in 4 years and received a claim notification this morning. Email address appears legit and the mkt2527 links are the same as real emails I received years ago. Weird and annoying.
Just started receiving these emails, also, three hours ago. They alternate between "claim notification" and "claim finalized". The headers of these emails point to bluecross.mkt2527.com as source. If you want to see more about these guys - checkout whois for the mkt2527.com, or see this summary
