The Venmo scam email below, which claims action is required to verify the recipients' identity in order to continue using their accounts, is being sent by scammers. The aim of the scammers is to attempt to trick their potential victims into clicking the phishing link in the scam email. The phishing website that the link goes to steals account credentials, personal and financial information that will be used fraudulently by scammers.
