The scammers spoofed or make the Geed Squad scam email appear as if it was sent from quickbooks@notification.intuit.com, to make it more convincing to potential victims.
Therefore, recipients asked not to call 1-888-397-5636 or 1-888-397-5635 if they are instructed to do by a Best Buy Total Tech email. They should instead, go to Best Buy's Total Tech legitimate website for information.
