    I got a PayPal fraud email claiming that I purchased a Samsung S 22 Ultra for $735.28.

    The phone number on that one is 866-307-6093.

    now it's Amazon from the same number 1 866 307-6748 sending a verification code for a transaction of $336.24 from an amazon pay account. If not me they want me to call them back at this number... scammers all the way... be careful out there... ps, I don't have an Amazon pay account...

    Yup, just got the same from Alissa Exe for $476 purchase of Bitcoin. "If you didn’t authorize this purchase, call this number. "

    I did because it looked genuine, happily no one answered.

    Got two emails within 5 minutes of each other. Very similar messages. When hovering over email sender link it said it was from service@paypal.com. Had to dig into the source info to see it was not from them.

    Of course always check your PayPal account from a source outside of the email to verify it's not legit.
