The "getsupport.apple.com" scam involves phishing texts, emails, or calls impersonating Apple support to steal Apple ID credentials, passwords, and bank information. Scammers often trigger, or lie about, a "suspicious activity" alert, sometimes creating a fake support ticket to make the scam appear legitimate. Do not call the phone numbers provided in these messages.

Here is another Apple Support Number scam message that contains the link getsupport.apple.com. The link is legitimate, so why is it a scam? It is a scam because the message asks recipients to call a fake Apple support telephone number linked to call centers operated by scammers pretending to be from Apple.

Never call an Apple Support telephone number listed in a suspicious message, instead, go directly to https://support.apple.com/contact/ and contact Apple from there. This will prevent you from contacting call centers operated my scammers pretending to be from Apple. The scammers steal account credentials, personal or financial information that they will use fraudulently.
