Scamming - Fraud
If you receive a text saying that you have unpaid tolls, do not click on the link. Scammers are at it again. Please notify your friends and family that if they receive this text or email, it’s a scam! Delete immediately! The message contains the following text: "Final Notice: Unpaid Toll Fee" and threatens legal action if payment is not made by a certain deadline date.
Below is a sample of the "unpaid toll text" scam:
Final Notice: Unpaid Toll Fee – Payment Required by December 10, 2025This is a final notice for an unpaid toll fee.
