Spamming - Adware
Scammers are using the telephone number 866-446-6319 to trick potential victims into contacting them. The scammers send out fake PayPal emails to potential victims claiming there is a fraudulent charge on their accounts and ask them to call the fake customer service telephone number for help. If contacted, the scammers will pretend to be PayPal customer service and ask potential victims for their account credentials, personal and financial information, which they will use fraudulently. Therefore, if you have been tricked into contacting the scammers and gave them your account credentials, please contact PayPal and your bank for help.

"I had 4 emails this morning from PayPal all saying there was a fraudulant charge and to call this number8664466319. All 4 had same amount and same transaction number. (First clue)I did that but intentionally gave the wrong transaction number and he repeated back the wrong dollar amount. Then he asked me to open my account. When I called him on the 2 discrepancies and questioned his veracity, he hung up."Comment from Facebook.
