Scammers are sending fake PayPal emails claiming there is an unauthorized transaction or unusual charge on the recipients' accounts. The same emails then ask recipients to call a fake PayPal customer service number, which is linked to a call center operated by scammers. The scammers will pretend to be from PayPal and ask their potential victims to disclose their PayPal account credentials, personal, and financial information, which they will use fraudulently.
