Do not call the telephone number 1-813-495-1666 that the email scam claims is a Fraud Resolution hotline. The number is not associated with Microsoft and may have been spoofed and is linked to a call center operated by scammers. The scammers will pose as technical support or customer service representatives and attempt to trick and frighten potential victims into disclosing their account credentials, personal, or financial information, which they will use fraudulently. They may also ask potential victims to give them remote access to their computers and silently steal sensitive information.

If you were tricked into disclosing your banking information, contact your bank immediately for help. Change your passwords and contact local law enforcement for help.
