www.kazumedia.com - It is a Fraudulent Website

The website "www.kazumedia.com" is a fraudulent one. The website which claims it will deliver all your favorite movies, music, and games across all your favorite platforms, is similar to the fraudulent websites: www.geeker.com, lilplay.com and tzarmedia.com. Online users who have used their credit cards on the fraudulent website, run the risk of their cards being fraudulently charged for undetermined amounts, even when they have cancelled their subscriptions.

They (kazumedia) claim not to charge your credit card for the trial period, but will do so anyway, even if you cancel before the trial period is up. Also, they will charge you to cancel your free registration, and will periodical charge your credit card for an undertermined of money. And, the website doesn't have some movies, books and music it has advertised. I think this is another trick used to lure potential victims to the website.

Online user who have already subscribed to kazumedia.com, are asked to contact their credit card company or bank for help to prevent the fraudulent website from fraudulently charging their credit cards, or refund their money if their cards were already charged.

To my knowledge I never ordered anything from this web site. However, in the past few months, when I try to access a web site another page pops up in front of it. The address lins says "not secure" I click out of that page immediately, but I'm not sure if any of my info got picked up in the time it was on screen. I don't know how to get rid of it.

Please ALL OF YOU VICTIMS OF INTERNET FRAUD from companies like this, go file a complaint on FBIs site IC3 (FEDERAL BUREAU of INVESTIGATION: INTERNET CRIME COMPLAINT CENTER) and we can stop these criminals!

I tell IT WORKS! I filed a complaint many years ago on a fraudulent site like these ones and FBI started to dig in this matter and found thousands and thousands of victims.

They informed me (a girl living in Sweden) by letter about the case and the woman behind the company was in trial and finally got 6 years in prison!

AND the best part...we ALL got our money back! Some victims even got money for the inconvenience this gave them. So PLEASE SPREAD THIS AROUND AND LETS PUT THESE SCAMMERS IN PRISON! :)))

Contact your bank and dispute the charge. Your bank should cancel the transaction and refund your money.

Also, ask your bank to block further transactions from them and check your credit card statements carefully and report any fraudulent transaction to your bank.

Sometimes, the scammers may change their merchant name to get around the block created by your bank. If this happens, you will need to cancel the credit card that you have used on the website and get a new one.

Never heard of Kazu media before. Just noticed an off payment for $67. So went back through my account they have taken that amount out of my account for over 6 months. Contacted the bank and they are looking into it for me now. Account has been cancelled in the meantime. Unsure of how they got my card details.

  • November 8, 2017 at 4:37 PM by an anonymous user from: Auckland, New Zealand

Nobody has signed up for kazumedia or it's other website playgentz using my card. I emailed kazumedia when I noticed the initial $1.45 then less than three days later $49.95USD came out then again three days later $49.95USD and then yesterday playgentz.com took out another $49.95USD.

Kazumedia claim not to know anything about the account, claims there is no account in my name and asked for the last 4 digits of my card which I gave them, then they asked for the rest of the numbers and expiry which I didn't give them.

Bank says they can cancel my card and charge me for a new one but won't reimburse the charges taken out even though I have asked all the questions they told me to ask and have the email chain.

I have no clue how kazumedia and now playgentz got my card details, but they won't refund and bank won't either.

The kazumedia came at the same time that I subscribed to max music in the mI tv browser. They made me believe that it was a movie when it was just music. So I unsubscribed to max music, and I noticed that my data was also in Kazakh without my consent.

  • September 7, 2017 at 6:48 AM by Philippe76 from: San Francisco, California, United States

My name is Philippe and I am from Belgium.

An hour ago, I saw that an amount of 49,95$ (42,95€) was removed from my credit-card account and another 1,12€ both for KAZU-MEDIA. Luckily I remembered what it was and began searching the net and found this site, which was very clear about the intentions of the scammers .

I immediately contacted Card Stop and they advised me to block my credit card, because it was certain that they won't do it just one time! I didn't hesitate and blocked my Credit Card. They're serious scammers and very well organized, so I prefered to take a drastic measure instead of losing money every month risking that they'll sell my data to other malveillant associations.

So, thank you all for the precious information and I sincerely hope that not too many persons will lose money!

    Yours Sincerely,

    Philippe.

Never heard of kazumedia and they are charging me $50 / month. I'm trying to cancel my account and they are being extremely evasive. They say they dont keep records of what services I've used ( none ) and cant provide any details of my account usage. On their website they don't even have a $50 plan

It's a scam; I notice that they are blocked from google search results.
