I am getting scam text messages like the one below from area code 347. The text messages have a link in them that appears to go to phishing or malicious websites. If you have gotten scam text messages or calls from a 347 area code, please share by leaving a comment below.

    I received a text on 3-7-2022, 5:52 PM Pacific. It reads, “We may owe you up to $758.82. A recent order may have caused us to charge you too much last year. Your savings is ready http:// ….” The link in the message was written in a foreign language in something that looks like Cyrillic in combination with Indian or even something like sideways Arabic, whatever. I, like most, would like to see justice. We’ll settle for a few chopped off fingers and hard prison labor. Some gullible folks will likely fall for the deception.

    I received a text message from 347-612-5485. I did not open text, but could read part of it in the preview bar. "We may owe you up to $758.82. A recent order may have caused us to..."

    This is obviously a dangerous scam.

    I receive 347 scam messages all the time. We need stricter laws to jail and fine online scammers. Millions of them should be identified, jailed and flogged, and fined.

    I just got one today:

    Phone number: 1-347-462-0431

    Almost about a month ago I posted few ads (on puppyfind.com) about my puppies (total of 5 and with names)that needs to be re-homed. I got one puppy that was sold about a week ago. This number texted me today asking about that one puppy even though her ad was taken down the same day that she was sold.

    I understand if that person saw the ad some time ago and just logged down my contact information. Not only I questioned the authentic of the person's interest but I also question why they didn't go back to the website and do their own research to see if the puppy was still available or not.

    Out of curiosity, I google up the area code and see if this 347 falls under any scam warnings/precautions and I found this webpage and I just want to give a headsup about this number...Anyways, I hope this will be of some help to anyone who is receiving text messages from this number and it's area code but as well as the numbers above.

    I didn't fall for it. Quickly googled number and got this page so thanks for the heads up. I get lots of deliveries from UPS, I may have clicked on it had it said UPS without thinking.

    I get daily text messages from area code 347 I block the number every time and another one comes the next day. They are mostly about me losing weight. I have had ones that said I have a package this is ridiculous I don’t know how to make them stop

      Oh I forgot to mention, all the texts include my name and the correct spelling of it, and my name is often spelled incorrectly but not in any of these spam texts

      I’m getting them daily from 347 area code as well. All have a link, I’ve never Clicked on the links. One has been a dirty text w a link.

      I have no idea how to stop them as the area code is the same but the number is always different.

      So frustrating!

    Fraudulent text. The second time this week I receive same

    type of texts. Did not pursue and blocked the caller ‘s #.

    Received one from 347-410-1616 saying they tried to deliver a package but I was not home (bullcrap). There was a link to click which I did not do, many more text scams since the pandemic. There's a special place in h**l for those taking advantage of a catastrophe...
