If AT&T is your carrier you can copy and paste and send to 7726 and you will receive auto response asking the number that sent you the text. Do not forward text in case there is a virus attached just copy and paste.

I received a text saying that they were from At&t having an unauthorized transaction and to call 850-498-1004 it came from my service the number it says on is (141)020-0500 I have not called them and I am deleting the text message also blocked the number of the texter..

The account is under my name so my number is the main number but I never get the texts. It’s always the other numbers under the account. It’s at least once or twice a month or every couple months when they think I’ve forgotten. I’ve never opened it I just previewed it and delete it. Now I automatically do it.

I tried to text a nasty reply to them, but (surprise!) it was undeliverable. This is the second such text I have gotten in two days.
