Alert 1019 Scam Tax Debt Reduction Robocall

The Alert 1019 scam call below, which claims recipients owe federal back taxes and asks them to go to alert1019.com to benefit from the Federal Economic Recovery Policy, is being sent by spammers and scammers. The aim of the scam is to frighten and trick potential victims into visiting the fake website by claiming the so-called policy will dismiss the so-called taxes they owe by classifying them as non-collectible. But, all the website does is redirect visitors to spam and malicious websites that may steal account credentials, personal and financial information.

Scam call all the way. I am a CPA and keep very close track of not only my taxes but those of my clients and none owe any taxes that I would need help with from this service. SCAM SCAM SCAM

Fortunately, I have my phone set to send all calls from callers no in my contacts list to voice mail. Then any calls I receive without a voicemail I automatically block forever and those with voicemails that are not from verified persons on my contact list are blocked too. This phone left a voicemail alerting me to my world coming down crashing immediately if I didn't call back immediately - guess what I blocked them - didn't call back - and I am still here.
