Scammers are sending fake overdue invoice emails like the ones below and threatening legal actions. The emails appear to have been sent from a browifi.com email address. Recipients of the same emails are asked not to follow the instructions in them. Below are samples of the fake emails. Good day, This is the last reminder of your overdue invoice, invoice attached. Please pay the invoice immediately. The next step in our process is to proceed with legal actions without any further communication, please pay immediately or contact us if you like to make another financial arrangement with us.
Again, please reach out if you have any questions on this payment. Otherwise, please organize for settlement of this invoice immediately.
