The Venmo text scam message below, which claims the recipients' account has been locked and they need to take action to avoid permanent suspension, is being sent by scammers. The link in the text which appears to be from Venmo, goes to a phishing website that steals account credentials, personal and financial information.

What do I do to solve this problem?
This scam is pathetic, just got exact text and account is just fine. Don't get fooled by fake degenerative. Thanks for forum
