The Zelle Double Payment is not a scam. Numerous customers woke up Friday morning to duplicate Zelle charges from JPMorgan Chase Bank. Chase said they are sorry that some customers are seeing duplicate transactions and fees on their checking accounts and is working to reverse any duplicates and adjust any related fees.
Some customers said they were able to get through to Chase after waiting for hours to reach customer service. They said they were told the money will be credited back to their accounts within 24 hours.

Chase has apparently said no overdraft fees, however, it’s about to be the end of the business week so I hope we don’t have to wait until Monday to have our monies returned lol
Sameeee... customer service said to call back in one hour... one hour later they aren’t accepting calls kind of convenient that it happened on rent day, just saying. FYI my landlord only received one payment.
Same! Woke up to an overdraft of $3.2K with duplicate Zelle transfers for my rent. I kept being transferred and now have been on hold for over 30 mins.
