Signs of a Scam Email

  • Requests for Payment: Asking for fees to deliver a parcel, often in the form of Paysafecard or other pre-paid methods.
  • Urgent/Threatening Language: Pressuring you to act immediately to avoid the parcel being returned.
  • Poor Grammar/Spelling: The messages often contain mistakes, strange greetings, or missing logos.

Protect Yourself

  • Verify the Sender: Carefully check the email address, not just the displayed name.
  • Check Parcel Numbers: Official DPD communications usually include a valid, 14-digit parcel number that can be verified on the official tracking page.
  • Do Not Click Links: Instead, go directly to the official DPD website and enter your tracking number there.
  • Report It: Contact DPD through their official customer service channels.
