I've had this file download a number of times, but I delete it before it seems to execute anything - that is, I'm not getting ads and popups, interrupted or slow browsing, or any of the expected results. But the file keeps wanting to download. How can I prevent the download through a browser (Chrome) on Windows 10? Thanks!

I had the same issue. With Chrome you can adjust the settings so that you are asked each time you download something where you want to save it. I've turned that on in the short term because I can manually cancel the download - hopefully, this will stop it downloading again while I figure out more about getting rid of it off my computer and stopping it from happening again.

You will have to stop visiting the websites that are attempting to download the file.

Those websites show advertisements that use that file.
